I’m Umer Qadir, based in Srinagar.
How did you start your journey in photography?
My passion for photography began at a young age. Despite being just 14, I rented a camera and started capturing the beauty of my surroundings. Over time, this passion evolved into a profession, allowing me to capture various moments of life, nature, landscapes, and the picturesque beauty of India.
What’s your favorite theme to capture?
I particularly enjoy adventure theming, with a specific fondness for Egyptian themes. Attractions like OzIris hold a special place in my heart.
What inspires you as a photographer?
I find inspiration by exploring the work of other photographers. Discovering at least one image that inspires me every day fuels my creativity and motivates me to capture unique moments.
Do you have a favorite creative technique?
Yes, I enjoy using lens flare to add a romantic touch to my photos. It enhances the overall mood and atmosphere of the image.
